The wallet is no longer as stiff and It's hard to truly capture the patina, but when put side by side, the wallet three months ago did not have the same deep caramel color it has now.

It is very unfortunate I have not been able to capture the wallet when it first came in with my Fujifilm X100V. The above pictures have been taken on my phone as I wanted both pictures to come from the same source. Here's one taken with the Fujifilm as a reference for next time.

I did not have it as my EDC until about one and a half month in. I went back and forth on it as I loved it at first, then thought it was too big and bulky and then loved it again after I carried it with me out of necessity (needed a lot of cash with me). No jeans. I oftentimes carried it with me in my bag, sometimes in my pocket. As a woman, however, not many pockets allow for this wallet to fit in which is a shame. I took it with me to Germany for a two-week long hiking trip and carried it with me throughout the trip in a fanny pack.

The inside is showing a lot of marks with use. You can see exactly where the cards have been. It's been stretched to hold about two cards each slot. I have enjoyed using the quick access slots a lot. It was an excellent choice to include it.

 The vegetable tan inside had a nude color and was somewhat pale.             

The color is now a bit deeper and has a pinkish salmon tone to it.























In my opinion, the wallet is now in an awkward in-between phase where it's only just starting to patina. The color at times in the right light faintly resembles a pale brown tint, yet other times it reminds me of a good darker whiskey. It's taken some scuffs that I'm not too worried about. The inside is best described as soft pink salmon as it's transitioning to a darker color over time.

Vermilyea Pelle hybrid briefcase (Wheat Twill/Milled Vachetta) - one month

It wasn't until I got my first full-time job last year after graduation that I was in the market for something like a briefcase. It came down to either a Filson which a local store carried or import a briefcase from Vermilyea Pelle with absolutely no way of knowing whether it was the better choice. Obviously, I went for the latter. Vermilyea Pelle Vermilyea Pelle is run by Dustin Spencer, who has had extensive training and experience in making bags.
